Alberta University is now accepting applications for full-funding scholarships for international students who want to study in the fall of 2023. This new program is fully funded, which means that no student will have to pay any tuition whatsoever.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements for UAlberta Scholarship

  • Students must meet certain academic and non-academic requirements in order to be eligible for a UAlberta scholarship.
  • The selection process for UAlberta scholarships is very competitive, so students need to have a strong application package to be considered.

  • The criteria also depend on the course you select.
  • You must also meet certain eligibility requirements, such as being registered in an undergraduate program at UAlberta, having a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, and being a resident of Alberta. 

Required documents for Alberta University Scholarship:

  1. Completed application form
  2. Proof of citizenship or permanent residency in Canada
  3. Proof of parents’ educational backgrounds
  4. Proof of financial need, such as a bank statement for the last three months
  5. Completed Alberta Scholarship Application Form

Applicants for scholarships from the University of Alberta must submit official transcripts from all Canadian post-secondary institutions attended, as well as an essay outlining their reasons for wanting to attend the University of Alberta. Additional requirements may vary depending on the scholarship and may include letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and proof of English language proficiency. 

Application Deadline for the Alberta Univesity

The University of Alberta’s Deadline for the Scholarship varies from course to course. For most courses, the deadline is 15th December 2022.

For some courses 15th February 2023 and for some courses 1st March 2023

The deadline for applications is January 15th, 2023 for the Fall semester and May 1st, 2023 for the Winter semester.
